Yes, yes...we know...new website...
Date posted: Tue, 3rd May 2016 6:09 pm
So yes, the Media Mechanic site is VERY long in the tooth (8.5 years to be exact). We are all too painfully aware of it (I mean seriously... Flash in 2016?? Who does that?). Believe it or not, a new one has been designed and is in a state of partial completion. However, just like the old maxim "the cobbler's children have no shoes", Media Mechanic has been growing by such leaps and bounds over the past few years we just don't have the time to get to our own website while we are building everyone elses'. We are hopeful we will finally get the new one launched this year, so stay tuned. ...
Which brings to mind another maxim: "do as I say, not as I do" :)
7 years and counting...
Date posted: Tue, 10th Feb 2015 3:31 pm
Wow - did that year fly by. Media Mechanic doubled in business, adding such high profile names as AWI, Western Family Foods and Indow Windows. We look forward to continuing to grow. We also have several changes to the business we will be rolling out over the next few months, so stay tuned!...
Celebrating 6 years!
Date posted: Wed, 8th Jan 2014 5:11 pm
Media Mechanic is celebrating 6 years in business!
Over the last six years, we have grown from a one man operation in a basement studio (in Michigan), to our current 9 man (and growing) team located in our comfy offices in beautiful Portland Oregon.
We have gained hundreds of clients, produced hundreds of websites and mobile apps, and completed successful projects for such big names as Harley Davidson, CAT and OHSU - all while still keeping a strong focus on working with local businesses and start ups.
We've been noticed: Media Mechanic has been mentioned in the Huffington Post, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Magazine and the Oregonian.
Meanwhile, we have produced a critically acclaimed children's app selected by Google's staff as a top featured app for tablets, which has sold tens of thousands of copies to schools and parents acround the world.
In 2014, we have several new large development contracts we are excited to be apart of that will produce some of the most technologically challenging work we have ever done. 2014 will be a fantastic year for Media Mechanic, and we look forward to continuing to work with you all!
Thanks for your continued support!

New Media Mechanic Website Coming
Date posted: Mon, 13th May 2013 1:57 pm
Hello everyone! We just wanted to give visitors a heads up. After 5 1/2 years in business, and a design that was created 6 years ago, Media Mechanic will finally be re-designing it's corporate website. It has served us well (and much longer than antipicated), but it is time for something new. During construction, we will constinue to update the existing site, but probably less frequently. To our existing clients: thanks for your recent feedback as to what you would like to see in the new client only areas. We will be attempting to incorporate as many suggested items as we can.
Please be patient as we start to knock down a few walls! Thanks!...
The Media Mechanic team.
