Organics to You relies on a web application developed nearly two decades ago to serve thousands of customers. A sustained campaign of automated attacks exposed the risks in its aging infrastructure and drove costly abuse of payment-related services.

The application remained central to daily operations, but older infrastructure and security gaps made it vulnerable to abuse. Repeated attacks created an operational problem as well as a technical one: suspicious activity consumed services the company normally used at a much smaller scale.
The immediate priority was to interrupt the abusive traffic while keeping legitimate customers able to use the business’s services.

A custom anti-bot solution added controls suited to the application’s actual workflows, together with tools for reviewing suspicious traffic and activity. The work focused on protecting the existing business rather than replacing a system its customers already depended on.
