- 02 / Review the researchThe AI summary explains the displayed selection and ranking, with product references, comparative observations and gaps in the available information.
- 03 / Compare a shortlistSelect products from the catalog and open a shared specification table with an AI-generated comparison summary.
- 04 / Ask a follow-upA question field beside the results lets users ask about those products, such as which ones have integrated screws.
The catalog remains central.
Product cards, filters, specification details and comparison controls remain part of the website. AI adds a way to interpret and explore that information within the established experience.
Original project background
In 2024, Media Mechanic was contracted to design and develop a specialized product review system for neurosurgeons. This platform enables companies to submit their products for inclusion in a comprehensive database, allowing neurosurgeons worldwide to research medical products, connect with peers for insights, and provide reviews.
Media Mechanic managed the project from start to finish, handling project management, design, and development. The system was built as a custom application using Laravel.
