In 2010 Media Mechanic was hired to develop the Beervana iOS mobile app. This app pulled data from 3rd party APIs such as "UnTapped" (among several others) to allow users to search their local community for pubs, breweries and bars that had their favorite beer on tap. Users could search using numerous search variations by place (brewpub, brewery, beer bar, home brew, eatery, bottleshop) or by beer brand. Users could then mark items as favorites and review profiles and find directions and contact information.
